My favourite things things about spring include; the first signs of bloom, longer days, cherry blossoms, pastel lace, sailor stripes, floral prints, chirping birds, new life, baby lambs, buttercups, sunshine excursions, dry shoes, dry socks, lace frill socks, almost bare legs, playful hems, less layers, lighter fabrics, feminine colours, an excuse to shop, open windows, St. Patrick's Day, pancakes, Easter eggs and the first ice-cream scoops of the year.
